How to set up and maintain your acrylic ant farm maze

Assemble the flat-pack panels on a clean, flat surface. Align the frame tabs before pressing them together; they click into place without tools. If anything feels stiff, contact us for the video guide.
Add 3-5 drops of water to the moisture port every 2-3 days. Do not flood it. The acrylic wicks moisture slowly, which is exactly what you want for a stable humidity gradient.
Clean the feeding zone with a damp cotton swab once a week. Acrylic scratches if you use abrasive cloths, so stick to soft materials. Never use alcohol-based cleaners directly on the panels.
Keep the farm away from direct sunlight. UV exposure yellows acrylic over time and stresses the colony. A north-facing shelf or a spot with ambient room light is ideal.
