Yes. The sand substrate and enclosed design create a calm, dark-friendly environment that suits a founding queen perfectly. You can cover the acrylic with a dark cloth during the early founding stage to reduce stress and encourage her to start laying.
How do I maintain the right humidity in a sand nest?
